Enter....if you dare

Lately I've been dabbling in coloring with Distress Inks and I am finding it to be much harder than it looks. Maybe because of the limited number of inks I have and/or because I'm not even sure if I want to learn a new coloring medium. I will continue practicing with DIs but honestly, my 1st love really is Copics.

Here is one of  my attempts at coloring with DIs.

This cutie is from the new Spooky Kit by TGF....so many images in the set, all of which are adorable.

It's a bit difficult to see in the picture, but if  you look closely you'll see the word ENTER...which will make this door hanger fair warning for anyone attempting to enter my daughter's dorm room!

Challenges I am entering this in:

Hiding in My Craft Room: #168 Halloween Colors
Loves Rubber Stamps: #121 - Anything Goes
Stamp and Create: October Fall/Autumn
The Greeting Farm:  FFF Happy Halloween
Through the Craft Room Door: 10/7 - 10/13 Anything Goes

Only one more day before we can say TGIF!
Thanks for stopping by, happy Thursday.

  8. What a cute door hanger! I think your coloring looks amazing! i never would have guessed you just started coloring with distress inks! This is a technique I want to learn also but as with any coloring medium it is all about continuing to practice to improve. I recently purchased the Distress Inks Coloring Class at Kit and Clowder and it is definitely one I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn how to color with this medium. Both Alyce and Tracy are amazing teachers! I will post a link for you to check out if that is something you are interested in :) Thank you so much for playing along with us at Loves Rubberstamps this week! We hope you play along with us again soon!
