A Random Fan GDT

Have you had the opportunity to see all of the adorable images at A Random Fan
They are OH-SO-CUTE!! When I was asked to be the Guest Designer for today I couldn't
say no, especially after spying the adorable Gemma on Cloud 9 image.
Seriously, all of the images at A Random Fan are awesome!

Copics, alpha beads, glitter, mesh bling, tulle, twine, flowers, seed beads and sequins.....

This tag was so much fun to make from the rainbow tulle topper to the
sequined filled shaker that opens for a handwritten note.

I had a little bit of spare time and thought I would make a second tag and topped it with the same style of tulle....just because I think it's cool looking.I think this would make a great bookmark.

You can see all of the images from A Random Fan at Sherry's Etsy site HERE
and you can check out my post HERE.
Have a great Wednesday!

Dilly Beans ATC

As of late, it seems I haven't had the opportunity to make a project for any challenge as my crafting always has an agenda. Having some spare time this weekend, I thought I'd play along with Dilly Beans latest challenge to make an ATC, which is right up my ally!

I used Dilly Beans #255 Zombie Hearts image, Copics, washi tape, glitter, white gel pen, TH alpha stickers, and a charcoal pencil to git 'er done.

I'll be back on Wednesday with another little project, until then....

WW #131

The CRAZY CRANIUMS challenge going on at Wicked Wednesday this week is
sponsored by Smeared Ink....I choose to use their Cranium Captain digi.

Cranium....brain....brain matter.....get it?!!!

I used my ATC to make a card for my oldest son's 25th birthday.
I found the cutest website called POST LIKE A PIRATE
which translates everything into pirate speak.
"Why pirate speak," you ask.
"Because his nickname is Pirate."

You have until 7:00 pm EST next Tuesday evening to join us
at Wicked Wednesday for this fun and interesting challenge.
For more inspirational ATC's you can see what my talented teamies
 came up with HERE

WW #130

I have no idea what I've been thinking lately as I totally forgot to make my WW  post last week and I am now a day late this week. I think I know though....SPRING BREAK! My daughter came home from college last week and my son is home this week. Between dental and doctor appointments, clothes shopping, friends coming and going, an out of town hubby....I'm feeling "scrambled." That is a very good word to describe me as of late!

A Day for Daisies has sponsored Wicked Wednesday this week for our BUNNIES challenge. I used ADFD Bunny in a Daisy image for my ATC ...coloring it with Copics, smudging with charcoal and an abundance of glitter sprinkled on top.

You have until 7:00 pm EST next Tuesday to join us at Wicked Wednesday....you can click HERE to hop over to the blog for our BUNNIES challenge.
Happy Thursday!

WW #128 Super Heroes

Wicked Wednesday has a super challenge right now and is sponsored by one of my favorite digital stamp companies, Sassy Studio Designs. The challenge this week is SUPER HEROES

I hope my ATC isn't too sassy?!!

SSD Bat Girl digi image was used
and the sentiment is from a very old OTC Super Hero clear set.
The star is from Love 2 Scrap and has been in my stash for a couple of years.

I hope you have the opportunity to find a few crafty minutes to create this week, you know we'd love to have you join us! Not only can you link your ATC HERE, but you can also see some fab inspiration from my fellow teamies. The deadline for #128 Super Heroes is next Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm EST.

Latte Anya

This g/c holder started as an ATC for Wicked Wednesday's coffee challenge a couple of weeks ago, but you might not remember it because I forgot to make my post for the challenge.  I love how the ATC turned out and decided to use it for the front of a g/c holder. I have known for quite some time that it's always a good thing to have extra g/c holders ready and waiting, as they have come in handy on more than one occasion....if you know what I mean.

I saw this sentiment on Kim's blog and knew it would be perfect with TGF's Latte Anya.
I left the inside blank because I love the look of a handwritten note in white ink on black paper...for a faux chalkboard look.

TGF: FFF use twine and/or ribbon - silver seam binding was used for a pretty side tie

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments,
 they always make my day.

Think Spring

Hmmmm.....what do you get when you put a soda can and dies together?

Dilly Beans: Add Some Metal #392 Amalia Easter Bunny
My Sheri Crafts: #128 Bling It!

I went grocery shopping last week in 17 deg weather in only a fleece jacket and no gloves, then this morning I woke to another 4" of snow....I think all of my fingers and tootsies are frozen and are no longer affected by the weather. Will this winter EVER end?  *sigh*

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments, they're always appreciated.
Happy Wednesday

Elyse's Confirmation

This past weekend our niece was confirmed and I thought it would be nice to make her a mini album/journal  in celebration. Of course I wanted to coordinate her album to her outfit and I was given 3 colors to work with.....aqua, navy, and tan.

I left ample space for journaling and pictures...

...along with plenty of pages with pockets for cards, notes, and memorabilia.

I ended up with quite a few scraps and decided to make a couple of small notepads for her siblings.

The blue stamped image had been hanging around for a couple of years and while sorting my craft area, I put it on my craft desk to put away and it landed beside this album.....how perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better design for the focal point. All of the crosses were glued to Tim Holtz Fragments with Glossy Accents. DP is DCWV Juniper Berry.

Flower ribbon, tulle and twine, along with seam binding was used throughout the entire album to tie everything together.  The washi tape matches so well you would never know it wasn't part of the paper pack. Three of the pages open for additional pictures and private journaling.

Usually when making these journals a 1.5" Zutter wire works perfectly, but after adding extra pages I found binding to be my biggest challenge. Thank goodness Mr. B has a tad more patience than me and was able to put it all together with eyelets and D-rings.

Whew, finally done and Elyse loved it.
Such a blessed and happy day!

I am still burrowed inside from the single digit temperatures outside....brrrrrr! Between naps and daydreams about warmer weather, I keep wondering why I haven't moved south yet as the midwest is a tad bit too cold for me this winter. Again......brrrrr!
