Copic Color Chart + TGF = Cute!!!

This is a little something I made for __________ (yes, another nameless person!) for a another swap on CMB. I've got to tell you that this is really hard to give away because I could certainly use this for myself, and it's adorable! I stamped TGF images all throughout the book and tried to color coordinate the images with the colors....Mermaid Anya with blues, Ian with black and grey, Hula Anya with green. ________ can make her notes on the blank areas on the pages. What do you think...cute?!!

I'm getting sooooooooooo excited! I'm heading to Wichita, KS in just a couple of days to a sb'ing retreat with some very good friends. This is the 3rd year in a row that we're getting together. Now, not all of us are making it this year and it sure would be nice it that could be rectified...eh?!! On the way to Wichita we're making a pit stop in St. Louis, MO to meet with my driving companion's sister and plan on spending the night there. Then on the way back home from the retreat we're stopping in Columbia, MO to see my sister.....talk about a fun road trip!!!!

Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

I'm in a couple of swaps on the CMB and this is something that I made for ________, she's my partner in the ____________ swap, I really hope she likes it! It took a while to get this the way I wanted, and it finally came together when my oldest suggested the filagrees....he's a multi-artistic sort of guy!

Isn't this tree the coolest? It's by Zva and I had it in my stash, just waiting for the perfect project. I left it on it's clear packaging and cut around the shape, then cut it to fit around the bird....yep, it worked perfectly!

All the papers and birds are from K&Co, the bird house and nest are Prima stamps and I distressed them with TH inks. I used TH pre-fabbed grungeboard filagrees and glittered them up with Ritz glitter in Patina.....I love this super, super fine glitter, it's gorgeous!

Thanks for stopping by, I have one more project that's been in progress for a couple of days now...it should be finished soon.

My 1st attempt at a bookmark....

...and I think it turned out great! Of course, my thinking could be distorted due to the fact that I'm absolutely in love with this line of paper, DCWV's Lemon Flower. I think to myself, 'what if I run out of this?!!' and start to panic...can you say HOARDER?!!

I found the bookmark tutorial on SCS. The image is from SU and I used my bleach pen to color in the image....giving the yellow effect. I also used the bleach pen on the yellow paper behind the image. Isn't this the coolest effect?

A quick and simple post, for a fun a easy gift.

Thanks for stopping by!

I was looking at the bookmark thinking it needed *something*...I added the bling and lookie here, I really like the difference a couple of rhinestones make!

TGF - Royalty - Week 1

There's such a great challenge at TFG this entire month and this is week 1 of 4...if you haven't checked out TGF's blog yet, you really should...there's so much inspiration. The theme this week is "Fairy Tale Fun" and we needed to create a card or project using TGF stamps inspired by a fairy tale or prince/princess...EASY PEASY!!!

I have lot's of layers on this, along with a couple of Spellbinder dies. There's plenty of flowers, some sewing, i-Rock gems (thanks Marjorie!), and another $1 sentiment stamp. I also added Dimond Dust to a few of the flowers, and don't you just love the glittery pink leaves? Red and pink are not my fav color combination, but I wanted to use the bright pink on Anya's dress so I could add the flowers.

All in all, I think this card turned out quite nice and is regal enough for any princess!
