GFS - CA&F - Saturday Sketch 60

Here's the sketch:

I know you can't tell from looking at the sketch, but this was REALLY hard for me to work with....I kept trying to stamp a sentiment in the half circle and it wasn't working the way I thought it should. Over and over and again, and it just wouldn't work out. Finally I decided to scrap the idea of stamping the image and used some chipboard letters I had laying around in my stash. I love how this turned out and all the layers of paper behind the image...it just seemed to all go together. The second picture is a close-up of all the glitter on the paper...don't you just love pre-glittered paper?!!

How fun that I recieved a RAK that included the green metal star just 3 days ago...thanks Liz!

And thanks to everyone for stopping by!

GFS - FFF - Monochromatic March Madness

I'm not too sure that this is monochromatic, but it is the best that I'm going to do for this week's challenge....as this card was 90% done when I saw the challenge. I decided that I loved the way this was turning out so much that I wouldn't "tweek" it just to fit the challenge rules...but am secretly hoping it is within the guidelines.

This gorgeous Fleur Anya is going to my niece who is making her 1st Holy Communion in a couple of weeks. I knew immediately she would be perfect as a young girl dressed entirely in white with her "veil" of flowers...again, the perfect image IMHO!

Anya is colored with Copics.
The paper is double layered with Nesties and embossed with one of the CB Asian folders.
Used a rub-on for the sentiment and cross.
Extras: Stickled flowers, a pop-dotted heart, pearls, and a bow.

Abundant blessings to our sweet Macala!

Club Anya - Sketch Saturday - Sketch 59

This week's sketch:

Here's the card I made following the sketch, I used one of the three stamps from the Hats Off Anya set...itsn't she the cutest?!! I colored with Copics, dry embossed with my CB and sanded the embossing, and hand cut the border from pp. I also used Glossy Accents over the stickers on the metal brads...I think the BFF looks pretty cool and is perfect for the image.

Thanks for stopping by, and as you can see...I am still in love with these stamps and don't plan on giving them up for a while!

Club Anya - Sketch Saturday - Sketch 58

Here's the sketch:

Here's what I did:

I used Flapper Anya and framed her with my new Lacey Circles Nestie (which I love, of course!!!) I colored her with Copics, sprayed Tsukineko Frost on the flowers, used AtYou Spica Markers on the dress and feather, and dotted Viva Paper Pens in Silver along the frame. There's also an assortment of rhinestones, pearls, and ribbon.

Isn't she the cutest?!! Thanks for stopping by!

Mini TP Roll Album --- Picture Heavy!!!

This is a TP Roll Album I made for my partner Jessica over on the CMB, and as stressful as this was to make...it was sooooo much fun to make! Jessica said she liked the Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime papers and we all know that a good paper makes any project go together so much easier! I used so many different embellies my head was spinning, but if I did choose an embellishment, I tried to used it throughout the book to make everything uniform...lace, roses, brads, butterflies, etc.

I took these pictures before the album was completed, so there are some missing items...but in general, this is what was shipped to Jess.

By time I got this put together to bind it was over 2" thick...there was NO WAY my BIA would be able to tackle that. I thought book rings might work, but didn't like the look of that either! What to do, what to do? I made my own binding! I love how this turned out...it actually looks like a real book!

Here are some of my favortie pages from the album:

I love all the fairies and the colors of this paper line, and am sooooooooo glad a have a few scraps leftover! :D

Isn't this a fab award?!! Grace sent it my way and I have to say THANK-YOU! Even though she says she just started making paper crafts she's uber talented when it comes to card making and has a wonderful eye for color! If you get the chance, check out her blog...she's one to keep an eye on!

Here are the rules: Upon receiving this award I need to pay it forward to 8 others, and copy the award to the blog's side panel. Then write 8 little things about myself......so for those who received this award, you ladies have to do the same - hooray, let's all spread some love!

I know, I know...I'm supposed to pass this on to 8 blogs I follow but I don't think I could limit myself to just 8, so if you are reading this...please copy and paste to your blog...you are creative and talented and deserve this fab award!

GFS Cheeky Chat

Isn't this one of the cutest images?!! This is a February release at GFS and I couldn't wait to get it...I just love everything it!

I really wanted a clock on the front of the card to go with the saying, so I used Glimmer Mist on a TH mask on the background to make a clock...hence the "call me any time."

Using TH's Rosette Die

I love this rosette die by Tim Holtz and had been eyeing it for a while, I just wasn't sure if I could use it in my CB. Then I found out I could...well I had to run out and get one! I also saw on his blog that he's releasing another die with the same rosettes, but in a smaller size! E-X-C-I-T-I-N-G news!

I love these flowers! Not only are they easy to make, but embellishing them is unlimited! These are for a Handmade Swap I'm in...they are going to _______, I hope she likes them.

The second set if for another swap I'm in to make handmade flowers. I'm a bit nervous because the other girls flowers are crocheted and made with material...the flowers are gorgeous from the sneek-peeks! I sure hope they consider these handmade. What do you think, would you consider them handmade?
