I've been itching to get my Cricut out lately, so when the monthly Cricut challenge at Paper Playtime came along I jumped on it, especially since I'm in need of a gift bag for this weekend. I bought the cartridge Plantin specifically for this bag...and find it's one of my all time favorite "go to" cuts. In case you're wondering about the heart in the middle of the bag, it was added through DS and the negative was used as one of the embellishments.
I also made sure I followed the rules at Flutter By Wednesday, in addition to having a butterfly, fairy or angel on our projects...their challenge this week is all about LOVE, a recipe of sorts:
L = 2 or more Layers
O = have an Odd number of embellishments
V = have the color Violet on your creation
E = any color Except red
I hope a Cherub will do for the required butterfly, fairy or angel.
Here's a close-up of some of the violet I added, a cute little bow made of twine from The Twinery.
Thanks for stopping by, and here are the challenges that I'm entering my project in this week.
