Perpetual Calendar

I've never made a perpetual calendar like this and even though I LOVE the way it turned out, I'm warning you....it took more time than I thought it would. With that being said, I am planning on making a few more of these for my sister-in-laws for Mother's Day....I'll just make sure to allow myself some extra time.

Here is the video by Kerry Duff that inspired me

*********************************

The box was bought at the Dollar Store and painted.
DP is Wildflowers by MME.
All alphas/numbers were cut using the Plantin Cartridge.

After running all DP, letters, and numbers through my Xyron, I ran my brayer over the letters a couple of times and I have to say it worked like a charm and left just a smidge of residue instead of the usual sticky sides

In additional to the calendar, a matching
notepad with a handmade charm was made
1" Wooden pieces were painted, glued and used for "feet"

*********************************
Thanks for sticking with me these past few months, to say they have been challenging and overwhelming is an understatement. In addition, two (2) of my DT's are no longer in operation.

Flutter By Wednesday discontinued all challenges in December due to the owner (Danni) having new work hours and more pressing obligations.

And most recently, Yumi & Fumi Handmade has decided to go in another direction and has closed their on-line store/blog. I wish Renate' and Leanne the best of luck in their new endeavors....much gratitude to the both of them for allowing me to be on their team. These two girls are the bestest!

I am still with Wicked Wednesday ATC challenges but fear Jenn will ask me to leave if I can't get my crafting mojo back....and soon. Meanwhile, I have been spending the past few weeks rearranging my crafting area and rethinking my priorities. I start crying when I think...."what would I do if I couldn't craft."  With a hope and a prayer I will be back on track in just a few short weeks......a hope and a prayer my friends.
:Dxx

Simon Says: Have a Heart  (Heart is on handmade charm)

Oh Hon! this project is soo cool! I'm dying to make one, now. Yours turned out just beautifully. As for the crafting mojo, sure looks like it's back in full force. I do know all about being overwhelmed, though. Hopefully you can regroup and do some fun things that you WANT, rather than HAVE to do. Been trying that a bit myself. Works wonders. Big hugs! xxD (and P.S. I really appreciate the comments you've been leaving on my Blog. xx)
