LRS May 31st Sensational Blog Hop

Welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps weekly Sensational Sunday Blog Hop!
The Design Team has created some gorgeous projects for your Inspiration. Check out each link and leave a comment. If you get lost along the way, each stop will have a full list of links. One of the Design Team posts is the hop's Sensational Sunday Sweet Spot and a name will be drawn from that list of comments to be in a monthly drawing for a $20 Loves Rubberstamps Gift VoucherWe will draw the winner of the Voucher the 1st Sunday of each month from all the comments left on the design team blogs. Remember, you have until 8:00 pm CST Saturday to leave your comments!

Lately, as I've been commenting on other crafter's blogs I've noticed that a few stampers have been stamping and embossing their images in white or clear and I was immediately smitten with the look. This card is my attempt at it. After stamping the image with Versamark, a white embossing powder was applied and heat set. The image was colored with Distress Inks. I absolutely love this technique!

The following products used on this card can be found at the Loves Rubberstamps online store:

Die-Namics Friend Die
Tsukineko Versamark
Tim Holtz Distress Ink:
Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Pumice Stone, Spun Sugar, Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet

You can start the hop at Laura's blog or continue on to Rebecca's blog HERE. These weekly hops are so much fun, I love seeing the wonderful projects and videos my teamies create. Yes, I really do hop along like everyone else!

Oh wow, De, that is amazing, and fantastic! It looks so effective having the white edging on the image and the word cut out of the base is inspired! Love it! Hugs, Wends x
