Let me start off by saying I am not complaining about the weather in the midwest as all the flowers, lawns, crops and fields need this abundance of rain...instead, I would just like a break from it on the 4th because fireworks, rain, and lightning are NOT a good mix. Just imagine if this were winter and we had all this rain, which would be snow instead and we would be right back where we were last winter. I was listening to the news this morning and it was reported some neighboring towns are using snowplows to remove all of the downed trees from last night's storm....no way, we just can't escape the constant reminders of winter, LOL!

We have a great challenge going on at Wicked Wednesday this week....it's all about Including an Uplifting Sentiment to your ATC. And better yet is our awesome sponsor, The Octopode Factory, who provided the DT with a couple of images to use for this inspiring challenge.
I actually used both images, Tianne the Fairy and Art Words.
What a fun image to color! Her wings were colored with florescent Copics and really are as bright as the picture. The background was made three years ago at a scrapbooking retreat using the shaving cream technique which you can see HERE. A little bit of hand doodling, glitter, and some MS butterflies is all it took to finish this ATC.
You can join this fun challenge too, just make sure your ATC is uploaded over at the Wicked Wednesday challenge blog by 7:00 pm EST next Tuesday evening. My teamies have created some very inspiring ATCs which you can see HERE.
Happy Hump Day!
