Wicked Wednesday Reminder: F is for...

I wish you could see all the glitz and shine on this ATC! I sprayed it with 3 different LSG sprays, then puddled some of the turquoise starburst color and painted around the edges of the ATC. Copic Atyou glitter pens were used on the feathery lines and glitter was applied on every other layer. As you can see from the second picture, a lot of fussy cutting and pop-dotting also happened...time consuming, but it sure added a lot of dimension.

Yoshimi w/ Fans

WooHoo, Sister Stamps is having a DT blog hop today and there are some wonderful creations by the entire DT! I thought I'd jump on their bandwagon and post a card I recently made using the adorable Yoshimi w/ Fans...isn't this girlie fabulous?!! I'm anxiously waiting for my new order to come in, but it won't be for a few more days. I ADORE these stamps and love coloring them, yet find myself still trying to get the hang of coloring black hair.

Wicked Wednesday: F is for...

I'm loving these ATC's because I find that I'm using up paper scraps and smaller embellies that have been sitting around for a while, like these purple flower stickers. I put them on CS for stability then fussy cut, centered, and pop-dotted them above and below the image. I think they complete this sweet ATC which is all about Fairies and Flowers.

Wicked Wednesday Lazy Summer Day Reminder

Ahhhhh....looks like this froggy knows how to relax on a lazy summer day!

After swiping the paper with distress stain and using distress inks on the edges, I printed, colored, and fussy cut this adorable frog image which I found here. I then stamped the twigs, fly, and sentiment and finished it off by adding some glitter in all the right spots. This little ATC was a real challenge for me and I'm still trying to figure out why it took me 4 tries to get it right. Do you ever have one of those days?!! LOL!

WW Lazy Summer Days, a Retreat, and a FB Hacker

Well, I had a great time at my retreat....5 days and 4 nights of cropping, laughing, eating and very little sleep! We lost electricity for quite a while one of the evenings due to a storm that blew into town, but we weren't about to groan about the circumstances and grabbed some "blue drinks" and sat by the fire pit...enjoying an evening of talking, laughing, and communing with nature!


I just realized the pictures I posted don't include any scrapbooking...but trust me, between the few of us we managed to get quite a few pages done-done!

When I got home I found out a hacker went through my FB page to get to my address book, YIKES!!! If you received an email from me for some pharmacutical products I am sorry!!! I hope it's been taken care of, but if it continues...please let me know.

Wicked Wednesday - Pantomine Reminder

Lucky me...I am at a sb'ing retreat with a few friends right now but wanted to send out a quick reminder that you have until Tuesday evening to join us in this week's PANTOMIME challenge at Wicked Wednesday.

I found this wonderful image on-line and am not sure who to give credit for it, please let me know if you know who created it. Do any of you remember Pantomime horses? They were usually used in vaudeville acts, but you could also see them in old Monty Python and Red Skeleton epidsodes....they were almost used in humorous skits.

Wicked Wednesday - Pantomime

The theme this week is PANTOMIME at Wicked Wednesday and as we know...pantomime is expressing feelings without words. Oy-vey...simplier said than done! I think I conveyed that this little guy Pierrot from our sponsor this week The Octopode Factory has a broken heart...or did you have to guess what he was trying to say?!! LOL!

I reached far, far back into my piles of "stash" to find the vellum roses. Remember the "books" of cut-outs and papers that we could purchase years ago? Yep, this is from a book of vellum designs which I refused to throw away because I still like the designs...I just never think to use them because they are in a very dark place! LOL!

Wicked Wednesday - Let the Music Move You Reminder

Good morning peeps! Today we are expecting sunshine and and temps around 90 here in the midwest...can you say GORGEOUS?!!

I used a fabulous vintage digi collage sheet for the background on this ATC and I have to apologize because I don't remember where the collage is from....while cropping the picture I cut off the name of the web-site and deteleted the email that it came from....such a day!!! I then added a curvaceous(ly) shaped guitar... which is a real guitar that you can buy on-line! The musical note was stamped, fussy-cut and adhered. Lastly, a quick sentiment from Scrap-i-licious completed this quick, but not too simple, ATC.

Yet Another Graduation Card

One of my co-workers is graduating from college this weekend and I thought this image was a perfect match for her...adorable and sassy! She's going to need that sassy attitude with her new MBA in sports journalism, along with some thick skin to compete in a predominately male field. Kudos to her!

I made this into a 3 1/2 x 7 card, just the right size to hold a couple of bills and/or check. Both sentiments were CG.

Dangerous Words?!!

Don't you just love this sentiment?!! I came across the awesome Ginger's House blog that offers free digi sentiments and I have to say that she offers some of the most fun and unique sentiments that I've seen in a while. I look forward to going to her blog almost daily to see what her newest sentiments are, it seems most of them have an "attitude!"

I used TGF's Karate Anya digi for this card and am entering this in both TGF and AFA challenges. I used flowers that have been in my stash for over 4 years, and I outlined a couple of the DP's with faux stitching...fulfilling both challenge requirements.

Wicked Wednesday - Let the Music Move You

Everytime I read the sentiment on this little ATC I want to throw my arms in the air and start dancing:

The image is from Kenny K and the DP is from DCWV-Blossoms and Butterflies, along with a small scrap of MME-Dwell. TH Frayed Burlap DI was applied on all the edges, then I quickly ran my fingernail around the edges to "rough up" a few spots. I used my Splotchy Background Stamp from TGF in a couple of the corners and the sentiment is CG. And in true Fergie style, I used my Stardust Glitter Pen for this gal's earrings.

Wicked Wednesday - A Child's Play Reminder

The minute I saw this Toot, Toot digi image by Elisabeth Bell I knew I had to use it for this week's reminder post...isn't this little guy just the sweetest?!! This image reminds me of my youngest and how he used to sit and play with his Brio set...content for hours. I'm pretty sure my little guy even had the matching hat, lol!
