Is it Wednesday already?! Time seems to be flying by...especially since I've been out of town the past two weekends. I definitely had fun during my weekends, but I always feel like I'm playing "catch up" for a couple of days afterwards. The challenge at Flutter By Wednesday this week is Open with a Twist of adding one of your favorite things on your project....FUN, right?!! Maybe one of your favorite things is reading, or daisies,  or sitting at the beach....just make sure you've included a butterfly or fairy on your project.

All DP's are nameless scraps. The image is from Stampingbella. Mesh bling, MS butterfly punch, Viva Décor pens, twine, tulle, and ribbon were used to complete this tag.

Happy Birthday Kathy

Every day is a good day when there's a birthday to celebrate and today is fellow Y&FH DT Kathy's birthday!

Kathy's cards and creativity always make me smile, to be honest....they just make me feel HAPPY! And those are my wishes for her today....that she has a day that's filled with all the people and things that make her HAPPY!

 

I used using Fumi with Messenger Bag and colored her in a couple of Kathy's favorite colors....green and blue. The HAPPY sentiment was stamped in PINK, GREEN, and BLUE.  DP is SEI: Corrine.

Y&FH #24 Make a Christmas Tag

I know you don't want to be on Santa's NAUGHTY list because you used store bought tags during the holidays this year! Don't worry, you have plenty of time to stay on his NICE list by joining the current challenge that's going on right now at Yumi & Fumi Handmade....which is their Make a Christmas Tag challenge.

 

 

I used Winter Yumi and just a few small embellishments, including brads that say Naughty and Nice from OTC. The Naughty and Nice sentiment was repeatedly stamped using TGF's Clear Christmas set. The ribbon on top of the tag also says Naughty and Nice. As you can see, I'm not going to be on Santa's bad side this year!

WW #102 Crazy for Daisies Reminder

I saw The Great Gatsby with my daughter at the theater this summer.

I listened to the book on tape while traveling in road construction.

I watched the 1974 version of the movie on Netflix.

I am enamored with everything about this classic piece of literature.

 

So when the Crazy for Daisies challenge was posted at Wicked Wednesday I had no choice but to make this ATC with Daisy Buchanan in mind.

FBW #253 OPEN

This week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday is OPEN---Anything Goes as long as you have a butterfly or fairy on your creation.

 

 

I'm heading to a scrapbook retreat in a couple of weeks and wanted to bring a little "something something" for my fellow crafters and this is what I came up with....eighteen little treat holders filled with strips of mesh bling!

 

 

All images are from A Little Bit of Magic Fairies by Sweet November Stamps. There are 9 different images in the set and the tallest is only 2", which makes them perfect for these little treat holders.
