LOL, I love the name of this challege...which to me, is really silly!
I've been waiting to use all the images to this Wonderland digi set and what better way than to make a banner. I went with the shape of the panels to look like a playing card...you know...for the Queen of Hearts?!! I dry embossed, used my Wonky Rectangles Nesties, used Copics on all the images, pop-dotted the images 3 x's, glittered, distressed all the edges, cut hearts using the Indie Art Cart, and found some pretty glittered brads to attach all the panels with. Did I mention the punched (blue) edge too?
This is what I came up with, so please bear with me while I post close-ups of all the panels to this banner....I think they all turned out pretty in their own way.
Seriously, don't you think the Mad Hatter looks a little bit like Zac Efron? I think so...of course there could be some wishful thinking there too!
I know you're looking at this picture and saying...."EGADS, the bow is sliding off the paper!" Which of course it is, but I didn't know until AFTER I took the pictures.
I know this picture is a little dark, but it's been raining in the midwest for days and I haven't had a lot of natural light to take pictures. As you can see...these were taken in my laundry room and here is the entire banner, hanging from my laundry pole.
Looks like I had a lot more to say than I thought I did this morning, LOL! Thanks for stopping by...enjoy what comes your way!

FFC - WWW - No Pink
I didn't think that this would be such a hard challenge UNTIL I sat down to find some paper, and then again, when I went to color this adorable digi from the Wonderland set from TGF...how do you color a rabbit WITHOUT pink?!! Hmmmmmm....Copic E00 Skin White...works just fine!
The flowers where a RAK from Liz on CMB...they are gorgeous! The butterflies and lace are Recollections brand (don't you love it when items are 40% off?!!) and the felt frame on the bottom has been in my stash for a couple of years...it's about time it came in handy.
I think my dd is going to love this on Easter morning, especially when it's filled with yummy chocolates and a ticket to the Anime Convention that's heading to town next month.
Hoping you all have a blessed and happy Easter!

FFC- FFF-That's Distressing
This week's challege was to distress a project...easy peasy! From looking at the card you can't see a lot of distressing but I used distress ink on the edges of the butterflies, and roughed up all the butterfly wings with the blade of my scissors...qualifying this card as distressed! :D
Don't you just love the flocked brown butterflies on the paper?!! I used my new Wonky Rectangles Nestie, and "lifted" the idea of using different papers in the die before I ran it through my CB...I LOVE IT! I also dry embossed with one of the Asian Bundle folders, and used a couple of different MS Butterfly punches. All in all, makes for a cute and stress-free card!

FFC - MM - CASE-ing Markie's Mom
Isn't this the cutest image...I know I sure think so! It's one of the new releases at TGF and I'm so fond of her, you can be sure you'll be seeing a lot more of this cutie! I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips and Perfect Pearls to get the right color on the sea shells and starfish, and I think they turned out perfect.
If you know me, you know that the sentiment fits me perfectly...but don't call me Dixie Wetsworth from MAD TV! If you've never seen Cabana Chat, check out the video HERE! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by, it's always fun to visit!

FFC - WOW - Spring Challenge
This week's challenge is to make a spring card...how easy is that?!! I was going to use the sentiment April showers, bring may flowers with this image...but was too lazy and didn't want to go upstairs to print it out on the computer, so I used this adorable stamp that I had in my stash. The outside says If you're feeling blue - and the inside says then paint yourself a different color. A perfect sentiment for this adorable Hope & Grace image!
Thanks for stopping by and I've been wondering...what have you been up to lately?!!

FFC - Mystery Monday - Casing Mama Maxa
Here's a quick card for this week's MM challenge....I just love this little guy and know my nephew, Rocco (don't you just love that name?!!) is going to love it too...he turns 5 in just a couple of weeks.
Did you see the background paper...it's very reptilian! LOL! I had it in my stash from a couple of years ago but I bet you can still find it on the speciality paper rack at HL.
Thanks for stopping by and HB Rocco!

FFC - FFF - All Things New
Club Anya and Friends is no longer...very sad! Instead, it is now being called Farm Fresh Challenge (you can see the badge on the sidebar)...Woot Woot!!! Because of the new blog name and all the changes taking place at FFC...this weeks challenge is appropriately called All Things New. We were challeged to try a new stamp, a new technique, a new embellie...anything and everything we've never tried before.
I used my Wild Sprouts Stella (which just came in the mail a couple of weeks ago and had never been inked), AND made an easel card for the very first time...I had lots of fun coloring and creasing!
A lot went into this card from coloring with Copics, to stamping the background sheet music, to dry embossing, to using a large notebook tag behind the image, to making the paper flower dimensional with chipboard, to using Stickles...well, you get the idea! And after it's all said and done...I just love the way this turned out...it is oh, so pretty!
In case you can't read the sentiment it says: If the shoe fits...
buy the matching purse! My kind of gal! :D
Thanks for stopping and saying "HI!"
