TGF Boho Anya Preview

It's a week of Boho, CHIC, and everything in-between at the Farm this week!

Have you heard about all the excitement at The Greeting Farm this week? In case you are just tuning in, we're in the middle of previewing some awesome new stamps this week...all leading up to our SPECTACULAR SEPTEMBER release and DT blog hop coming TOMORROW....and that's not all! You still have a few hours left to enter our FARM FASHIONISTA contest before the winner is announced TOMORROW and I can tell from the entries rolling in that we are gonna have our work cut out for us!

Before that time comes though, we have ONE more preview to sneak in today and she gives a whole new meaning to the term "boho-chic"....

INTRODUCING....BOHO ANYA!

This darling new addition to our famous "ANYA" character line is just as adorable as can be and we are SO excited to welcome her into our TGF family! Here's what I created with her today:

I found this awesome crinkled twill tape and SEI DP at the Expo I went to a couple of weekends ago and just HAD to have them, thinking they mixed well for an updated boho-chic look....sorta/kinda like Mary-Kate and Ashley. Hmmm...I wonder if Boho Anya is really their triplet?!! LOL!

Don't forget to stop by the TGF BLOG today for a recap of ALL of the exciting happenings at the Farm this week and to see how you can WIN a BOHO ANYA today!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving all the sweet comments, each and every one makes me feel so proud to be part of this awesome DT.

This week's challenge over at the Pink Elephant is PAPER PIECING and it is being sponsored by TGF where the winner will recieve a free 4x6 rubber stamp set....I hope you get the chance to try this challenge, paper piecing is always a lot of fun!

I used the TGF Hoo Loves You 4x6 rubber set, Graphic 45 paper, TH and CB embossing folders, an iRock, distress inks, and I don't think you can see it very well but I also used Atyou Spica glitter pens to outline the flowers. If you're wondering what was paper pieced..it's the owl faces (which are also pop-dotted) and the leaves.

You have until midnight September 3rd to play along!

TGF WS Logan

Check out the adorable new guy that's previewing over at TGF blog today, WS Logan. OMGoodness...don't you just love his hoodie, and those curly locks?!! If only I were a WS image, I'd be saying, "YUMMY!!!"

I used Logan on a card I made for my nephew's upcoming birthday, and because my nephew is a hands-on type of guy, I always like to surprise him with some type of "moving" element on his cards. I just know he's going to love the cool effect of this waterfall card...I know I do. I think the CG sentiment works well with the card too...kinda cool, right?!! LOL!

WS LOGAN will be released in a SPECTACULAR SEPTEMBER release along with the new Miss Anya set and 2 other singles....all leading up to some awesome new stamps to add to your collection on the 1st!

Don't forget about the two new CLEAR stamp sets, "Bantastic" and "Fairy Princess", available in the store now...or perhaps you want to add them to your September 'loot'? :)

A WINNER and some Expo Pictures

First things first....the winner of the Fly Baby 12 x 12 LO and Copic blog candy is GOBEAGIRL! Lisa, send your addy to me at ddbartucci@yahoo.com and I'll get this out to you in the next couple of days. Thanks to everyone for all the wonderful comments, they were all very sweet!

This past weekend I had a few friends from Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan come to town and we all went to the Scrapbook Expo in St. Charles....can you say "FUN"!!!!

We shopped...I'd show you pictures of what I bought but that might be incriminating as my hubby could read this post at anytime, LOL. I bought a "handful" of copics at $3.99 per Sketch marker...such a deal! Then I ran into a real dilemma at the Nesties booth...it was buy 3 Nesties, get one free....what to do, what to do?!! LOL!

We went to classes...I loved learning all the techniques in the Melissa Frances class!

We ate...if you ever come to the Chicago area you have to eat at PORTILLO's...it's the absolute best Italian Beef in the area! OMG, they have a Chocolate Cake Shake!!

We cropped....

We celebrated Marji's birthday...

We had margaritas (of course!!!)...

It was sad to see the girls leave this morning, but we had a lot of fun and it was so nice getting together to shop, crop, chat, and laugh...and laugh...and laugh! And just when we thought we were done laughing for a few minutes, Marji said, "and it spits!" and the laughing started all over again! Thanks for the great weekend girls.

Thanks for stopping by, and GOBEAGIRL don't forget to send me your addy!

Lily Pad Card Challenge

I took the time to participate in Lily Pad Cards challenge that's being sponsored by TGF this week. If you want to check it out....click here. The challenge is to do your best with the fab sketch below. At first I hesitated because I just wasn't sure about the corner thingies, but after thinking about it I decided to "tweak" it to fit my style.

Here's the sketch:

Here's what I came up with:

I sure hope I didn't tweak this challenge too much?!! I love using TGF's Syrene...she's so magical! I used Prima mulberry flowers, various flower centers, Atyou Spica Pens, MS branch punch with blue glitter paper for the branches (love using glitter paper for branches!!), Nesties Label Two, and sea shells from the Atlantic ocean that were gathered along the Litchfield Beach shoreline in South Carolina on our family vacation last year. *sigh* I wish I was there, taking in the sun and enjoying the warm ocean air!

Thanks for stopping by and saying hi, I always love reading your comments.

It's gonna be a BRIGHT and SUNSHINY day for sure at The Greeting Farm! Hooray!

Today is the day...two new sets are available for purchase as we are proud to debut our new line of CLEAR stamps! BANTASTIC and FAIRY PRINCESS!

Here is my project using both of the new CLEAR sets BANTASTIC and FAIRY PRINCESS in a 12x12 sb'ing LO...don't you just love the fairies holding the banner! So sweet!! Talking about sweet...did you see where I wrote BLOG CANDY in the title? This LO is being offered as blog candy, deets are at the bottom of this post.

I don't know what it is, but these adorable little fairies make me want to sprinkle glitter over everything! I did show some restraint...but seriously, I think you'll be hopping on the glitter band wagon when you see these cuties in person!

The smaller banner was attached to a transparency overlay, which allows it to be moved anywhere on the page.

We are SO excited to begin today's hop combining some TGF 'alum' with our Farmers! Be sure to check out the TGF BLOG for a complete list of links, as one lucky winner will receive BOTH sets just for commenting and participating in the hop! TGF Clear Stamp Preview

Hey, everyone!

I am back to fully reveal what may have been just a cloudy snippet yesterday... did you see through our little surprise or are you CLEARLY stumped?

Well, wonder no more because some of the cherished members of the TGF alum along with the Farmers are thrilled to bring you a BRAND NEW line by TGF:

CLEAR STAMPS!!!!

Before we go any further, these stamps are not replacing our rubber line. We are testing the waters to bring you some fun new designs, and most of all QUALITY stamps! To add to the fun, we also have the opportunity to bring you some RE-RELEASES, in addition to NEW releases and we are excited to get started with our first two sets!

INTRODUCING.....

BANTASTIC and FAIRY PRINCESS

I used the FAIRY PRINCESS set to make these adorable charms, and I can't say it enough just how stinkin' cute these little fairies are! They are the perfect size and so much fun to color. The charms were made with Memory Glass, Memory Foil, and embossing powder. I glued it all together with Glossy Accents, used TH stick pins, added a few beads and ribbon...and walla...some adorable charms!

So, what do you think? Are you CLEARLY stunned or could you see RIGHT THROUGH our snippet yesterday? LOL! Anxious to try the new line? Well, be sure to leave a comment on the TGF BLOG to see who ELSE is previewing the FUN today...you'll see some familiar faces in addition to our Farmers and there's a SET OR TWO UP FOR GRABS there, too!

See you tomorrow for the official release of our first two CLEAR stamp sets, Bantastic and Fairy Princess.

Thanks for stopping by!

Ribbon Carousel Challenge

I had a few minutes today to join the challenge that THE GREETING FARM is sponsoring this week at THE RIBBON CAROUSEL.

Jess Deidrich, our TGF coordinator and Ribbon Carousel DT'er challenges everyone to get in touch with our “edgier side”. So rip your paper, distress your edges, use an edgy character or image...just do something “edgy”.

One lucky participant in this week's challenge will receive a Greeting Farm 4x6 stamp set of THEIR CHOICE!! So get your edgy on! Your creation can be anything from cards, quilts, sewn items, paper crafts, paintings, anything will work!
*** Please remember that your creation must have ribbon, bakers twine, jute twine, lace (basically anything that comes on a spool). ***

Being on TGF DT I thought it would be fun to play along, it's always fun to try new challenges!

I used the always adorable TGF Piper from the Creeper Crew...boy does this girl have attitude, LOL! I thought the sentiment on this card was a bit EDGY, I mean...how often to you say "truth or dare" to someone?!! I used my Wonky Rectangles Nestie, inked the edges, and then hand doodled around the edge of the rectangle....something I've never done before!!! (I think my artsy mojo is finally kicking in thanks to the Heart Journaling challenges going on at TGF.) I embossed the flower with Utee 3x's...giving it a glassy look, and then topped it off with a button and some twine!

If you'd like to participate the challenge over at The Ribbon Carousel, click HERE.

Lastly, stay tuned because there's more exciting news at TGF over the next few days....more hints tomorrow!

WOW! My favorite color in a sketch....

I tried to combine 2 challenges this week, which is always a lot of fun...especially when you get to use your fav color!

Farm Fresh Challenges - WOW - My Favorite Color(s) and
Deconstructed Jen's Sketch No. 14

Here's my card:

I used TGF's Fly Away set which I just purchased during their last Farmer's Market, can you say SCORE?!! I used Copics to color the image and if you're wondering...BG10 is my all time fav Copic color. I also used the MFT Die-Namics cloud die, TH distress inks, and a few sprinkles of glitter...I'm starting to think EVERYTHING looks better with a little bit of glitter on it, don't you think? The paper is from an old MBI's prepackaged set.

I just had to post this last picture because it's proof that I truely love aqua, LOL!

Thanks for stopping by, it's always fun to visit with friends!

Deconstructed Sketch No. 13

Here's the sketch at Deconstructing Jen's blog this week...all you have to do is click on Jen's name to check out her weekly sketches.

I barely made it this week with just 2 hours before the deadline, but I made it! I used a TGF digi image called Fairie - Summer...and what better way to color her than with Copics and Atyou Glitter pens?!!

I'm starting to get hooked on Jen's weekly sketches...not only does she come up with the best sketches, but the DT she's pulled together is MUCHO talented! Check it out if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!

TGF - Throwback Thursday - Cheeky Cherry Pie

It's my turn for Throwback Thursday on the Splendid Stamping blog today and I chose to use the always fab, Cheeky Cherry Pie as my throwback but really...there are no "throwbacks" when it comes to TGF stamps...I love them all!

The Cheeky stamps are some of my all time fav’s, with Cheeky Cherry Pie being in my top 10. I knew the minute I saw her I wanted...no, I knew that I HAD...to have her in my collection because cooking and baking are some of my favorite things to do. Recipe cards, tags, LO’s...just a few ways I use this cutie!

Here’s a fun scrapbooking LO that I made of my daughter and her apple pie from her Home Economics class in school last year. She made the crust and filling at school, but had to bake and eat the pie at home because of classroom time restraints. Whoever ate the pie with her had to grade and score the pie crust for part of her final grade. Ummmm, it’s true…she received an A, LOL!

A few things I used for this LO: Graphic 45 paper, PC Plantin and From my Kitchen cartridges, Memory Makers epherma, Copics, ric-rack, MS border punches, and TH distress inks.

Lastly, if you make any rubber purchase at TGF you'll receive this adorable free digi of Chibi Farm Hand.....but you need to hurry because this offer is only good through Friday, August 5th (tomorrow)!

As always, thanks for stopping by...I really do love chatting with all of you!

Deconstructed Sketch No. 12

I've had a productive week...not only did I find the image I was looking for for a baby card, but I was also able to play along with Sketch 12 at deconstructing jen's this week too! I'm not sure if I can I really call that multi-tasking though?!!

I think this is one of my fav Jen sketches so far, but I have a feeling I'll be saying that every week 'cuz her sketches are so versatile and fun to create with.

I found this adorable baby clothesline digi by Asmaa on ETSY and printed just the onesie on patterned paper. This card went together really quick by using a small 8x8 paper stack by Little Yellow Bicycle called Baby Safari, making all coordinating paper choices easy peasy.

Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate hanging with friends! :Dx
