Oh, the things I do to save myself a few minutes....like posting two different challenges in one post. Which is something I don't normally like to do...but the rush of the holidays is upon me.  Hmmm, sounds a little like procrastination...eh?

Y&FH Battle Hop - Embellishments

You're in for a real treat today. We've got a battle brewing between Team Yumi and Team Fumi and you're invited to a front row seat to this feud. No....we're not really fighting, we're just having a bit of fun between team mates and what better way than to show off than with a crafty blog hop. Both teams have been given the same theme to create with and all of you will be the judges!  We all know it wouldn't be a blog hop without prizes...so you want to make sure you leave a comment on each blog post because each team member is giving away something on their blog.  It's true...there are lots of chances to win, in fact there will be 4 types of winners:

For my project I surrounded Summer Chuckles in blue, aqua, beads, shells, bling, and water....can you guess which are my fav embellies and colors? FYI...ALL of them!!

 



Look closely...did you notice the beads?! LOL, yes they moved because this is a 6x6 Shaker.

FBW #261 Open

This week's challenge at Flutter By Wednesday is OPEN...just make sure you have a butterfly or fairy on your project. I used the stunning Lilly Fairy of Enchantment image by Michele Perkett for my tag, and as detailed as this image is, it was quite easy to color.

I have been planning on making a HOLIDAY PLANNER for a friend and had the inserts printed and pre-cut...ready and waiting for the day I had a few extra minutes to work on it. This is what I came up with...

Happy Birthday Cebelica!!!

Over at Yumi & Fumi Handmade we are celebrating fellow DT Cebelica's birthday today! She is such a fun and creative person and visiting her BLOG is always a bright spot in my day. You should see the awesome beaded spiders she made....they are spook-tacular!
