In addition to the challenge at Dilly Beans to make a "red" card I challenged myself to start using up some of the paper that's been hanging around my craft area for a couple of years...my challenge was to use two or more different lines of DP...I chose Marcella and Penny Lane. I ended up using a couple of other colors and really like the green and red together...I don't think it looks Christmas-sy at all, at least I hope not. The butterflies are from 3 different MS punches and each one is layered 2 or 3 times, a couple of them were dabbed on a glue pad and glittered...surprised?!! The sketch is another of Jen Shults' sketches and if you haven't checked out her challenges yet you really should...and wait until you see what her DT dreams up!!

Great card Denice! I think it looks very "spring-ish"! That's a great idea about using up your older paper!

Hi Denice. I love your card. Meagan's art just makes you want to use beautiful bright colors I think. I also think you have nailed this card. It just makes you smile to look at it. I also wanted to let you know that I gave you a blog award. It is on my post dated 2-18-12... Sorry for the duplication, didn't know you had gotten one already, but I think you deserve two anyway. lol... Have a great Sunday. Hugs, Lisa
