Have you wondered where I've been lately?! Between traveling back and forth to see my dad who went into a rehab facility this summer and out-of-town guests....it was my turn to host the annual scrapbooking retreat for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Crops. Needless to say, I have been busy!  The scrapbooking retreat was held at a fantastic B&B in Sycamore, IL called The Paper Doll House. OMG, the owner Mary Kim spoiled us from the moment we pulled into the driveway with a valet who unloaded our cars, to her fresh baked tea time delicacies each day. Did I mention her cupboard of decadent sweets?!

Good times with good friends....old and new! We've changed the name of the group to the Sassy Sisters as the group has changed members and some are now a bit sassier than in previous years, lol!

This is my favorite picture from the entire weekend....my real life sis, Diana (L) and my sistah from anoth-ah  moth-ah, Carol (R).

I drove a few of the girls to Sinissippi Gardens in Rockford and found the memorial bench for my BFF/maid-of-honor who passed away 15 years ago, *sigh* I miss her everyday.

Thanks for stopping by, wishing you the happiest of Fridays!
:Dxx
